Osteopathy is a holistic, hands-on approach that treats the whole musculoskeletal system — not just the site of pain. Unlike physiotherapy, which focuses primarily on exercise rehabilitation, osteopathy uses a wide range of gentle manual techniques to restore the body's structural balance and support its natural self-healing capacity. It is recognised by the World Health Organization as a legitimate medical discipline.
Not at all. Our approach uses gentle, non-invasive techniques designed to be comfortable and deeply restorative. You may feel mild tenderness in areas of tension, but most clients describe sessions as relaxing and calming. We always work within your comfort level.
Patients of all ages — from newborns and children to active adults and seniors — can benefit. It is especially effective for chronic pain, sports injuries, pregnancy-related discomfort, postural issues, stress-related tension, and age-related mobility changes.
This depends on your condition and goals. Acute issues may resolve in 2–4 sessions; chronic or complex presentations often benefit from a full course of care. After your initial assessment, we will give you a realistic treatment plan and honest timeline.
Yes — when performed by a trained osteopath, treatment during pregnancy is safe and deeply beneficial. We use gentle, adapted techniques to relieve back pain, pelvic girdle pain, and the structural changes of pregnancy. All techniques are stage-appropriate and guided entirely by your comfort.
Yes — always. If you have paid for Session 1 and want to upgrade to a package, your payment is credited in full and you pay only the balance. You can upgrade progressively at your own pace, all the way to the Complete plan, with no time limit on the decision.
Yes. Paediatric osteopathy is one of our specialist areas. Techniques for infants involve extraordinarily light touch — often no more pressure than a hand resting gently on the body. You are present and involved throughout the entire session, and nothing is done without clear explanation beforehand.
Yes. Osteopathy was formally introduced in India in 2015 and is recognised by the Government of Odisha as an allied medical science. The degree we hold is from Sri Sri University — a UGC-approved and recognised institution. Since no central regulatory council exists in India yet, the registration granted by the Government of Odisha is considered valid across the country. We are proud to be among the first generation of formally trained and registered osteopaths practising in India.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. You will not typically need to fully undress — we work around your clothing where possible and always provide a gown if needed.
